About IHA:

"Hydropower" refers to the production of useful energy from the power of falling water.
This renewable energy source can be exploited with the minimum environmental and
visual impact. Being more predictable, reliable and visually unobtrusive, Hydropower
has many advantages over other renewable energy technologies.

Whether you are considering generating some or all of your energy needs from a hydro
resource on your property, are planning to develop a larger, commercial resource or are
just interested in the topic, the Irish Hydropower Association is a valuable source of
information and contacts with others with a passion for this, the oldest of all renewable
technologies.

Membership of the association is open to all commercial organisations, academia,
charities, community groups and individuals involved with or having an interest in
hydropower.
